June
May Meeting
‘Organised chaos’ might be an apt description of our monthly meeting in May…it was certainly a hive of activity. There was so much to get through…signing up for outings, signing up for Stoke Pride. Taking decisions about the proposed trip to see the Terracotta Army Exhibition in Liverpool. Deborah Rogers joined us to present certificates of achievement to participants in the Printmaking Workshops. (Some of whom are featured above).
However, this was chiefly a ‘hands on’ meeting to prepare display boards for Stoke Pride. Everyone is to be congratulated in the enthusiastic way they rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in to selecting photos, then cutting and mounting them to produce four display boards (also featured above). Well done all for creating such excellent results. And, no one was injured…so the first-aid kit wasn’t needed.
Our next meeting will be back in the usually place on the fourth Monday of the month on 25 June. Due to unforeseen circumstances our Annual General Meeting, which normally takes place in June has had to be put back to July.
