Who We Are

The North Midlands LGBT Older People’s Group was formed in 2009 by older LGBT+ people in and around North Staffordshire. The group became a registered charity in 2019.

Combatting Isolation and Loneliness for Older LGBT+ People

We are a self-help group for older LGBT+ people offering mutual peer support through regular meetings and programmes of social, cultural & creative activities. Our core aim is to combat isolation and loneliness and promote good mental health.

Our group is run by and for its members based around peer support and self help. We do not have any premises and we do not employ any staff. We encourage anyone who joins in with our activities to become a member.
