Rainbow Revivals

Building on the success of our Rainbow Threads project, Rainbow Revivals explores sustainability, reducing textile waste and the environmental impact of fast fashion. Inspired by local green spaces and reclaimed industrial landscapes, the project shows how creativity can give discarded materials—and sometimes much-loved older belongings—a new lease of life.

A programme of workshops led by local textile artist Jane Titley offers older LGBT+ people, their friends and supporters a friendly and welcoming setting to learn new skills, share ideas and enjoy creating together. Using hand and machine stitching, participants transform unwanted clothes, fabric scraps and other reclaimed materials into useful and beautiful items.
