Discover Digital
The North Midlands Older LGBT Group (OLGBT) actively participates in a local initiative called Discover Digital which was launched in 2022.
The Discover Digital project was established to boost “Digital Inclusion” in Stoke-on-Trent by helping people make better use of the internet.
OLGBT continues to do this by:
- Working in partnership with the Beth Johnson Foundation to offer group and individual support that helps OLGBT members learn together and support each other
- Including Discover Digital tips and advice in our regular mailings
- Offering workshops and other learning opportunities
- Hosting a Discover Digital section on our website with useful learning resources.
- Facilitating a WhatsApp group to support our learners
